We’re all guilty of rushing around and giving ourselves very little time to relax and unwind. And sadly, for a lot of us, downtime can often be shared with our mobile phone. We rush around and don’t stop until our head hits the pillow.
But it’s so important to stop. To indulge in some ‘you time'.
Running a bath before bed each night is a good way to unwind. They’re not only great for our mental well-being, but for our muscles and joints too.
Natura Siberica’s Revitalising Bath Salts provide a heavenly spa-like experience from the comfort of your own home. Enriched with essential oils from wild-harvested Siberian herbs, they smell exquisite and work magic on your skin.
We asked Jessica Smith, Brand Manager for Natura Siberica, about the benefits of bath salts. Here is what she had to say:
Why are bath salts a good way to de-stress?
Well, they used to be really popular in our grandparents’ day but started to lose their appeal over the years. Recently, though, they have undergone a resurgence in popularity because, quite simply, they work! There’s nothing quite like switching off in a hot bath, with relaxing, fragrant oils and herbs to help restore the body’s natural equilibrium. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a peaceful digital detox.
Are they better able to cleanse and soften skin better than other bath products?
Salt is able to draw out toxins and impurities as well as gently exfoliating away dead skin cells. It also contains minerals, such as magnesium, potassium and calcium which help to soften skin.
Why is it important to exfoliate and moisturise our skin?
Dead skin cells are shed as part of our natural ageing process, but by giving it a helping hand to gently remove the old layer we reveal newer, brighter skin underneath. Old skin cells clog pores, leading to ingrown hairs, spots and pimples, so it’s important to remove them. But gently. That’s the keyword – we don’t want people scrubbing like they were cleaning an old cooker!
And priced at £4.25, they're much cheaper than a spa day!
